My name is Gillian McCreesh, I took the role of Parent Governor in January 2017. I am a Speech and Language Therapist, and have been working with children of all ages with a range of speech, language and communication needs for 18 years, working in partnership with parents and colleagues in education. Drawing on my experience I am one of the link governors for SEND and Literacy and I am part of the Finance and Curriculum committees.
I have a 7 year old son, who attends Consett Juniors and a 4 year old daughter who is currently in the infants and both keep me very busy! I am excited to become part of such a friendly and dedicated team of staff and governors and look forward to playing my part in supporting our school.
