The staff and children working in Year 6 have had such a fabulous week in school this week. It is so good to be back even though things are a little different in school. We are so proud of how hard the children in school have worked this week. We have continued with English lessons on a morning where the children have written a letter to a loved one as well as a Lockdown song and in Maths we have been revising things we had learnt before Lockdown in preparation for some new Maths topics, which we will be focusing on next week. On afternoons we have focused on PSHE, discussing the affect Lockdown has had on all of us, designing time capsules, creating Covid journals and my Lockdown life posters. We have also tried to get outside as much as possible playing socially distanced games, completing Mr Meadows photo challenge (which the adults even found difficult) and spending time with the friends that we have missed over the last three months.
Next week we will continue with Maths and English lessons on a morning and on an afternoon our topic will be Black Lives Matter with of course some PE as well.
Thank you for your continued support.
