Dear Families,
We have arrived at the end of the first half term of 2021, it certainly has been a very different start to the year to normal.
Can I just say a big thank you to you all for your support this half term – the school only works so well because of your amazing support. Also, a VERY BIG WELL DONE to all the adults who have been the drive behind the children learning from home – having children at home all the time is very different, and often difficult – but I know how amazing you’ve all done. We can only begin to imagine the working from home and remote learning juggling act that you have all tried to very hard to facilitate.
The work the children have submitted has been super and we have had great pleasure in sharing this on display boards around the school. This will remain in place for the children return, to emphasis how proud we are…We are even more impressed with the way so many of our children have used their own 365 emails to make contact with their teachers, many children are doing this all on their own, sharing great ideas and asking important questions about their learning, keep this up!
We look forward to the government announcement over half-term to see when and how school could potentially start to re open – obviously when announcements are made, we will be share this with you all.
Next week is half term, not just for our children, but for the teachers at home (you) and in school. Enjoy the well-deserved rest everyone.
Take care and keep safe.
Mr Dixon
