Forest School – Year 4

March 26, 2021 by dawnraine

Dear Parents/Carers,

Year 4 will be starting Forest School on Wednesday 14th April 2021. Their sessions will be carried out on a Wednesday in the school grounds. Class 3 (Mr Meadows) will do the first half of the summer term and Class 4 (Mrs Taylor/Miss Thompson) will do the second half of the half term.

Children will need the following Forest School kit:

wellington boots, jogging bottoms, a t-shirt, a sweat shirt/long sleeved top and a pair of warm socks. Please don’t go out and buy anything new.

Kit will get dirty and muddy so only send your child wearing old clothing. Children will come to school on a Wednesday wearing their Forest School kit, however, wellington boots should be brought in a separate bag. Wellington boots should also display your child’s name.

In school we have waterproofs and a few pairs of spare wellington boots which your child may wear if needed.

Please feel free to contact school if you have any questions regarding Forest School.

Yours sincerely,
Mr S Meadows (Y4 Class Teacher).
